Thanks for all the comments, had a good laugh at a few.
My fingers hurt like hell from not wanting to put the guitar down but worth it.
Not sure what I am suppose to learn yet, just looking at YouTube and trying a few easy songs to start.
Strange feeling trying to get my hands to learn something unfamiliar but I like a good challenge.

The Martin still survives. It's got an appropriate pickguard and flight case now. I refer to it as the 'shipwreck guitar' because it really looks like it survived one.
It's been passed around a few Appalachian bluegrass sessions now and has been very highly praised, I've even had a fairly notable and renowned picker offer to buy it, but it's just too good to let go.

This one however is the keeper of all keepers. 50s Harmony H1205. It's so light and resonant and sounds so good.![]()
