This was back when you could buy a Les Paul for about seven-hundred quid and a tidy Hamer for a lot less. The 800 Series combo cost less than two-hundred quid.

proper usa hamer is on my bucket list having snagged my blitz for parking meter money.There was a guy with a californian here on the forum but he just went awol months ago...
