Wish I could get a picture that properly captures it. Love the dark amber colour. Might be my favourite (or second favourite next to black gold). Honestly, I love the clear, bright 'snap' from this guitar. Not in the least muddy. I've no plans to part with it as there's nothing I could get for the money that'd come close.

Originally an Avri two tone sunburst stripped, nitro'd and v lightly relic'd ( better pics in show us your Tele thread )
AiRdAd wrote:Looks Fantastic! What are the details on the les paul?
Oxblood R4 which I've had for ages ( barring a short trip through a couple of other forum members hands )
R8 Vos from 2018 ( first brand new guitar I've ever bought, custom builds aside )

No problem. I know that guitar well, I got it from Conway and had it for a couple of years. Never should have sold it. But to be fair I did get the chance to buy it back but didn't have the funds at the time. Such is life :)
Loving it so far

Yeah, I can neither afford or justify spending 3x what this cost on whatever's the latest incarnation of this model, and I can't imagine a sub $2k LP being as good (yes, I know it's not a LP). So, since everybody needs at least one HH I'm happily kind of stuck with it. :-)

No, sorry. I rewired it with decent parts and am considering a Nocaster pickup set when one appears. It still feels very new and needs the edges rolling a bit, and the nut is cut too high. So it's not perfect but the rest of the spec is great and it's nice and light so I'll just keep it.

My kitchen floor is the best backdrop I have currently! Unless you want to see kids toys scattered across the background?
