Something in my head is broken. I want this also, but I cannot do it. It is impossible. Maybe when I'm 75.

I've gone from 5 electrics and 1 acoustic to just one electric. Its through necessity though, because my other hobby, photography, has taken a turn for the expensive. My pedalboard is looking rather forlorn too.

I share your pain. Photography is a very expensive hobby indeed! Decent lenses alone can cost more than a friggin guitar! Why did I have to choose two expensive hobbies!?

Don't start collecting motorcycles! That gets expensive.
Epiphone Riviera P93 & EJ200CE, Hagstrom Viking Bass, Doubleneck bass/guitar.
Rivera Clubster 45, Carvin AG100D, Ashton BSK158.

Thats understandable :)
Just lately I've been looking into 70's classic money pits from my youth. Saw a Suzuki GT250 advertised the other day, oh so tempting it was - then I remembered I already have a money pit and at least its from this millenium.

Spares for the Suzuki are probably easier to get though.

Probably a good thing I never learnt how to ride a bike, otherwise I'd have three expensive hobbies!

I've tried too but stuff just keeps arriving and I have no idea how to stop it.
Did send something off today, thanks Tone.e but with yesterday's arrival it hasn't made any difference.

When my dad passed away he had two bikes, both I think from the 30s or 40s. A BSA and a Triumph. His brothers got those. He left me a USA 1942 weapons carrier, LHD, no doors (they were not missing, this truck did not have doors), 6 wheels. It was in the UK, I was living in the USA. We could not ship it. It had to stay in the UK. I'm told it has been in a couple of war movies since then.

I really wanted one of those bikes!

I haven't bought any gear for ages, but I'm indulging in that other expensive hobby: having a family who have teeth. Another $2k about to walk out of my wallet and into a dentist's pocket for my wife's cracked tooth. Oh, and that's on top of the $100 he charged her for the 7 minutes it took for him to determine that.

I'm just embracing the hobo aesthetic now  Lumino told me I needed two root canals at 2k a pop so just had them pull them instead haha. They're at the back and mostly not visible at least.

Living vicariously through your dentist's Ferrari habit isn't all that it's cracked up to be, but at least they could offer to take you for a ride!

Yeah I got a rear pulled last year rather than spent money on it only to have it fall apart later.
