Did you order it in custom colour? What style do you mostly play?

Re: Show us your whole setup....
I had a black one originally and it died, something wrong with the transformer. Took it back to the Rockshop and after a proper kerfuffle with "where TF is my amp now?" they sorted me out with the last one in the country - it just happened to be blue.
I really want an extension cabinet for it, but that would probably mean a custom order to match the colour
Mostly covers (pop/rock) but generally not very well. It's very much like someone in middle management owning a Ferrari.

Mate, no shame in having gear that outweighs your skill. That's what we're all here for.hercules wrote: ↑Tue Jul 26, 2022 5:36 pmI had a black one originally and it died, something wrong with the transformer. I bloody love the custom colour Mesas. Was very close to ordering my Cali Tweed in blue, surf green or (Ron) burgundy.

Nice amp, my Dad has one and I got to try it out when I visited the UK a few years back
Having said that, my Dad gave me the choice to use the Mesa or his Cornford and I opted for the latter. Those MKI Cornford's really are something quite special

We (an acoustic duo) were told to turn down twice in the first song, by which time we were so quiet we could hear specific complaints word-for-word
Teach us for playing at a real estate agent’s schmooze-party I guess. At least they were apologetic about the crowd.

estate agents are such a lecherous bunch of fucktards. Should have turned up and played 'Burning Down The House' on loop.

Can’t choose your friends so easily in a small town, especially one where every second motherfucker is a real estate agent.StrummersOfThunder wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 7:18 amoh ffs ...hercules wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 10:53 pm

But the temptation was strong. Never again!

This is a great wee ditty for similar circumstances!

It is. Every now and again I’m tempted to sell it and get a stereo setup for my electric rig, but then I play it and change my mind. It definitely tests your mixing skills - so many controls and such flexibility is a little overwhelming. But it sounds superb.olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 7:51 am Am keen to hear what you think of the Rosette amp. Looks interesting and useful.

Do you run the Gibson through the Rosette as well? Do you need a preamp to add some colour?hercules wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 9:42 amIt is. Also, what Gibson is that? Looks a little like a modded 355...
