Found this old set up pic today whilst trawling for something. The Java 2 books should help date it.
This was back when you could buy a Les Paul for about seven-hundred quid and a tidy Hamer for a lot less. The 800 Series combo cost less than two-hundred quid.

Re: Show us your whole setup....
I have a set up that I never expected to own, but am actually really happy with!
Stereo rig, one side being VHT Special 6 (ex-Slowy) through a 2x10 (ex-Strummers) and Powerbrake clone (also ex-Strummers). Other side is a DSL-1R through a Blackstar 1x12. Never thought I'd own a DSL as I've never liked them in the past, but here we are! Both sides set to equal volume on the edge of breakup.
Pedal rig is in stereo, with each side having a clean boost and and an OD. Hotcake and OCD clone used for Singlecut and go to the Marshall. AC Tone used for Strat and go to VHT. I have an Iridium on the way, which will squeeze in somewhere.
I've reduced the guitar collection a bit. Down to a mid-90s Fender Custom Shop Strat (ex-Voxshall), the '01 PRS Singlecut (ex-everybody), Taylor Custom Shop GA and a seldom-used Warwick Streamer LX-4. Still probably have a space for a Tele or (semi)hollow-body but not quite the budget.
