This one is quite light weight, the strings really resonate thru the body when you play. Ash can make any body you like and finish it however.
The most impressive thing about his guitars (and one of the most important) is the necks he does. I have never played a nicer feeling neck than the one on my Heilo, it's fast and slick, totally buzz free even with low action, intonates perfectly, the frets are finished and dressed flawlessly, the fretboard is rounded off at the edges. I have yet to play anything better in the sub-$4000 category.

ooooo now that is guitar porn of the highest quality...

Once I have the custom amp out of the way, I feel a custom Ash guitar might be on the cards.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

ha ha well ok, a custom Ash guitar IS on the cards... got it all planned out in my head and everything... but will stick with getting the amp sorted for now...
