My #4 Ibanez RT, and a homemade RBM Voyager clone, both from TradeMe. Both needed a clean up, but are now very nice guitars (IMO, YMMV) 8)
Hi I'm new here! so Hi everybody !
I'm about to buy an Ibanez RT too. The same than yours. But it still has that awful printed pickguard on it. I guess you put an RG black pickguard on it.
My question here is: does it match the rt (especially the screw holes)?

Thanks!

Hey, wecome 8)

Good choice on the RT ;) I've got 4 of them so far... The RT in the pic you quoted actually came with a black pickguard, whereas the other RT's I've got came with that horrible tiger-in-a-blender print pickguard :?

RG pickguards don't quite match up with RT's unfortunately, I did try one, and the screwholes didn't line up, plus the horn on the bottom of the pickguard was longer than the RT pickguard. On my main RT I had a pickguard custom made by ASH (from this forum) which works perfectly. Your best bet is to contact him about making one (if he isn't too busy!).
