Noted. Am I correct in thinking that you used to have an '02 LP Grant - or you still have it?

Thanks chaps, yes sure is a gorgeous top on this one. Honestly, probably aside from the R8 I used to have this is the best sounding LP I've owned

I used to have one. Didn't have the 50's neck I wanted though. But sounded absolutely awesome straight out of the box. I changed nothing on that guitar. I think I sold it as the Custom was incoming and I had peak LP's.MiniForklift wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:49 am Thanks chaps, yes sure is a gorgeous top on this one. Some of the finish has gone on the side where your right arm rests. There’s also wear on the side at the back where it rests on your leg, doesn’t appear particularly deliberate so I’m guessing a previous owner has played it without pants on and may have been a bit of a heavy sweater ?!NippleWrestler wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 9:05 am Is the finish removed on the upper bout, or are my eyes wonky? Both?

Yeah, something about this one. The pickups are amazing, I’m assuming they’re just the stock BB’s it would’ve come with but they’re definitely better than the later ones. Neck wise I’m not sure whether they’d have sent this one out as a 50’s or 60’s as it’s somewhere in between
