I think the bigger issue would be if the bridge mounting screws line up. There's 'vintage' and 'modern' spec I think? (or am I thinking of Strat bridges...?)Molly wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 8:22 pm Years ago I tried putting a vintage-style bridge on a more modern Tele. Discovered that the string holes were in the wrong position (too far forward or back - not sure which now) so when the new bridge was positioned the guitar wouldn't have been able to intonate. Hopefully no such issues with the Cabronita. I did see that owners of Mexican Cabronitas routinely change their bridge for one with different spacing so that hints that a change over would be possible.

Nothing to see here.

Agree. Keep it original. A great instrument as is!Slowy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 5:14 amThose American Cabronitas are an extremely limited edition; only 150 of each colour IIRC. Might be smart not to 'improve' it.robthemac wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:14 am+2 for both of these suggestionsMiza wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:07 am Such a cool looking gat those Cabronitas.
+ 1 for Surf Green.
A big improvement for looks would be one of those vintage half-cut Tele bridges, like this:
