HNLP&MD
Chap locally was selling-up as he's heading away. On impulse I bought his LP Traditional and half-stack. All minty. He chucked in a Cry Baby and a nice Epiphone acoustic too. Mrs is home from work in an hour. I've decorated the amp so it blends-in.

It also has the bonus of being able to cheer up the entire neighbourhood when used in anger

Nice, I’m also fully leaning into my natural bent towards a LP into a Marshall stack, love that combo! Although generally against the sensibilities of any young/modern players opinion. Plugging in certainly brings a smile after a rough day.

You can't beat the classics, its like a Strat into a Fender Deluxe Reverb, these are magical combinations!

I wish I had some Christmas cheer like that! Good score.

I'm impressed with your camouflage skills, I don't think your partner will even notice it is there

Re: HNLP&MD
What makes you say that, out of interest? All I can tell is that it isn't a 2014 due to the normal 12th fret inlay.

Re: HNLP&MD
the 2012s had laminated fingerboards which were later changed back to a single piece. I'd be curious if there was any discernible difference. I suspect not but the guys on MLP were up in arms about the whole thing.

Still has all the case candy including a final inspection sign-off and photograph dated 2017. Serial 1st and 5th are 1 and 0 so that's interesting.NippleWrestler wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 8:40 amthe 2012s had laminated fingerboards which were later changed back to a single piece. From 2014 to 2018 Gibson used a different format for serial numbers where the year was indicated by the first two digits (yyxxxxxxx).Molly wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 8:53 amStill has all the case candy including a final inspection sign-off and photograph dated 2017.
