New G&L Day
Just recently got this.
Sold the LP Studio I had as I don’t seem to gel with humbuckers.
And then bought this.
Needs new strings but feels very nice in hand.
Bridge has been blocked so not tried vibrato yet.
Liking it so far.

Re: New G&L Day
very, very nice! I LOVED my G&L ASAT Special, what an amazing guitar that was. How is that bridge compared to a traditional offset bridge?

I like that! What model is it?

Re: New G&L Day
The highlight and retraining part for me is the treble and bass knobs and how to use them effectively.
They're great! The variety of sounds to be had in either taming the gain.....pushing the gain.....having a trebly edge with bass rolled off and slowly bringing in the bass to get a rumbly, ratty almost woofy push happening is cool.
The pick ups are single coils. They have a bit more output than the singles on my strat and push the front of a sparkly clean amp nicely.
And the neck is so comfortable!!
Does slip of my leg when sitting but that's probably my slouching......
