NAD: Mike C SRT (minus the cab)

Just recently acquired Mike's amp. If you guys already notice, I do love collecting amps especially other builders. E.g. two rock (bloomfield), Fuchs(ods), mesaboogie, Shinos (Rocket/ Lucky 5) etc. Mike's amp is no exception.gotta have it as a collection  . While the other amps are just being stored, this one's definitely going to get used.

The amps great. It's basically vox on heaps of sterioids. Huge range of tones without having too many knobs. Can get into fenderish/marshalish territory when you want to and it works well with pedals as well. Amp response is great, not too compressed etc. For those of you who haven't tried it, or dont have it, you're definitely missing out. Theres not many builders out there with this level of quality and NZ made. They have great demos online but i highly recommend playing it in person as your computer speakers probably won't capture 50% of the amps tone and feel. I got the #8 but without the cab. I'll pair it with alnico cream or Axiom alnico 30 or potentially the JBL d123.

Lovely to read this post, and that's a really great endorsement from you :-)

The amp also looks fantastic as pictured above--I hope to try one out some day.

Thanks for the endorsement Mr. Marshmallow and I must say it did sound particularly good with you playing through it with my Strat! You are quite the axe slinger :). Re JB's kidneys - the TradeMe price includes their commission and is "retail" - I am secretly (sshhh) trying to guide interested parties to my website. But I will always give members here a discount and possibly terms - I want more SRT's out there!

Hard to argue with that, one should have too many amps to plug in too many guitars.

The coolest thing about this amp is it can be made to sound both quiet and awesome.

I have one available for anybody in Aucks who wants to try it.

I played mine in the weekend. Very juicy!
