NPD: Reg's MSA SR DRIVE
Ordered one of Reg's MSA SR Drive
This pedal has a lot of power. I got the version with two master volumes. Great tonal balance, great string definition, buttery yet meaty:
Very versatile and can easily adjust to any amp I have. It works well with pedals and looks sexy too.
They sounded so good I ordered another one for another pedalboard.
A quick demo clip I did as soon as I bought it. Probably better to explain via sound. Phone recording but you could still the character of the pedal.
Playing through one of my 22w TC custom amps with relatively low volume -> JBL e120 speaker 1x12 cab.

It’s a Kingtone Bluespower, V1 I guess as I see they just re-released it in a weird plastic looking enclosure which must be V2.

JB will probably want to tell you that the Blues Power is just a copy of the Jan Ray. Or that other one starting with T.

Re: NPD: Reg's MSA SR DRIVE
It’s sort of true actually, although Kingtone tried to throw people off the scent by adding some extra diodes that don’t actually do much at all and a transistor that literally connects to nothing but can be seen on their PCB so it looks like it’s part of the circuit. There’s a good write up by the people who traced it. I own an original V1 Timmy and the Blues Power is in the ballpark but I much prefer it over the Timmy generally speaking.
For those interested.
