I took a punt on this Blackstar ID:15TVP amp recently paying just over a dollar per watt from a local pawn shop.
It was being sold as faulty; it would power on without sound. I opened it up once I got it home to find that a multi-pin connector that joined one of the amp's circuit boards to another wasn't connected. Somehow it worked itself loose. I plugged it back in and she's going great.
Probably the easiest fix I've ever done. Sounds decent and would make a great first amp for a beginner. Plenty of tonal options and built-in effects.

Not bad consider the reputation Blackstar amps have for servicing and repair.
