Enjoy. Be sure to let us know how you get on once you've had a chance to play it.

I would have probably forgotten all about it given that amount of time.

I may have said some dickish things about the mystical energy surrounding this pedal, but I'm still happy as for you to finally get it, must be a good buzz. Have fun man.. this is gear hunting and collecting mecca material.

Thanks, mate! I have no doubt there's a sizable dickish aura around this pedal. Like you said, it's still a buzz, and life is too short to worry too much about what other people think.

Gutshot pkotos? :D
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I'm not sure I agree with bending the legs on each of the pots like that in order to reach the PCB.

I would be more worried about that lid... way too small

You mean the back cover? Naaah... that's just the open back being closer to the camera than the back plate/cover.

They're not designed to be used that way and the unnecessary stress/tension might cause some issues in the long term. Saves time in terms of off-board wiring, however.

But the legs are made from metal and if bent once in that shape there is no unnecessary stress caused. I agree that if you bent it to that position maybe 20 or 30 times repeatedly some work hardening and stress fractures could occur.

But literally just bending a pot leg is not going to kill it.

There are at least 20461 other units out there, and they seem to get traded for silly money. I assume their construction is OK.

Have you plugged it in yet? Or is it now living in a sealed, temperature- and humidity-controlled box?
