If you do, get the domed thumb screws
Domed Thumb screws?
Domed thumb screws
Presumably so there’s a little rocking motion in the bridge?

Even better in green
I think they look great in most colours! I had one of the Vintage Modern heads which was purple and it looked awesome, think I actually sold it to Molly. But Marshall’s in red, white, green… they all look a bit special I reckon
So in summary, you slipped Molly your purple head in exchange for money. Got it.

Have never had the pleasure. But a 335/LP through a 1974 is the closest I've come to the sound in my head.

I think Splawn's market is at the far heavier end of things. The 'in my head' is an amp that'll get from an almost clean to Americana kind of break-up, to solid, heavy 70s rock all on the roll of the guitar's volume knob and the force you put into it. Something very dynamic. I can add a pedal for widdle. I think the Marshall will be good for that.

It can get you there, especially with higher output pickups. I reckon they sound best just at our slightly past the edge of break up.

But I play jazz, so what the fuck do I know....
