I reckon that hall in the middle of a massive park next to the motorway in Birkenhead.

Re: The 3 pillars of boganism?
The best were at Corban estate, because we had loud, really loud and quiet areas.
Not sure of the price, blacko organised and I'm sure sucked up a lot of the cost.
A single hall is always going to piss some off - the loud guys, the really loud guys and the people who want to play quietly.

So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Good call.JHorner wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 5:51 pm Maybe there are different pillars depending on the bogan locality.
I think the pillars in my area were:
- Black Levi's + Metal tshirt
- Cheap beer and whiskey
- Constantly fixing your POS Ford/Holden with parts you got from a dodgy guy in Glen Eden who lived in a little fibrolite house but had a massive double garage full of car parts stripped from totally legitimately acquired vehicles
Source: Grew up in West Auckland in the 80's and 90's
Perhaps Valiants could have been added to the car group. Also you hadn't mentioned if the guy with the car parts was your uncle's mate or you got his number from the Trade & Exchange! Lastly if he didn't have the parts, you could possibly have procured them from the bogan marae on Rosebank Rd known as Pick-a-part

Custom faceplate since I built one a few years ago. I bought it from a mate called Justin in 2017.Mr Davison wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 6:38 pmIf it's a custom face plate tremoverb I believe it's been through a few hands on this forum. The bogan guitar players I know are using shit from cash converters.
As an aside I have a Mesa Tremoverb from the same year as yours.![]()

I can lend you a Laney quad for as long as you like.
It's got HH speakers with small magnets and is bright as fuck and sounds nothing like a good quad should.

2. T&E.
3. Too many hungover hours spent at pickapart on Rosebank rd pulling worn out parts already near to failure. And the douchebag at the turnstile just made up the prices depending on if he got laid the night before or not.

I'm pretty sure you played through my Greenstone of Doom at the first Dogs Bollix gear fest, if I remember correctly you were getting some pretty decent tones out of it too.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

You can always shoot me an offer. Bear in mind the tremolo doesn't work (never has since I owned it), but it does have the adjustable bias mod and better FX loop. I feel I use around 1% of this amps capabilities.

That's why I bought a Mesa with fewer capabilities!
