NRMTBPD
4 weeks to arrive from Germany but $8 USD postage isn't bad.
Rangemaster with EQ on the right goes into a Tonebender on the left.
Along with the hi/lo gain switch on the top it makes for a pretty wide range of fuzz tones.
I dunno what's going on in here but someone might be interested.
Sorry my phone camera is ancient and shit, as are my photography skills.
Some days you win, some days the cables win. Today is not that day.

Re: NRMTBPD
I've had mine for at least a year, maybe two, and I've just not had a moment to to really give it a try. Think it's done all of five minutes... You've reminded me to dig it out.

Re: NRMTBPD
Anyone else saying the name “Vindicator” with a deep American B grade movie bad-guy tone?
So, how does it sound? I keep meaning to dive into the Rangemaster hole…but haven’t been satisfied with any brand names as yet, The Vindicator changes everything.

Yeah the name sucks. It was called Tonemaster but apparently he got forced to change it.
It sounds good to me, buttery haunting trebles and all that. but I'm no aficionado. it's not the grittiest rangemaster, but I hear you can ask for specific germaniums for more gain if you want.

Re: NRMTBPD
I had to print out the manual from t'internet and spend quite a bit of time referring back to it before I got the hang of it.
You really do have to put your pedals in it's loop.
It's a bit unforgiving. You need to play in time and hit the footswitch on the 1st beat of the next bar else it will compose you a drum track in 5/16 time.
Using the metronome feature is essential to having all the song parts in the same tempo.
Don't be a munter like me and plug it into a 200ma output and spend 2 days googling why the lights are flashing all wrong.

Re: NRMTBPD
Clean amp, low gain input, all tone controls at noon.
Turning down the range (under the "boost" label on my one), makes it much warmer.
