Yeah the tolex is pretty ragged, probably age and poor workmanship. Had to cut and scrape out tolex and glue from the insides to make the chassis fit...

Yeah, I learned the hard way.... just call it a bit reliced... looks a great combo though and looking forward to some sound clips.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Enjoy! Here's my MikeC Deluxe Reverb
By the way, if you love the amp so much you're thinking about letting that Mesa on top go... I'll swap you my American Professional II Telecaster Deluxe

Haha that Cali Tweed will have a place in my stable for some time yet.
When I have the 1974 kit built I'll probably have to sell something. But that'll be months away.

Now that looks exactly how I envisioned it when I had it. Good on you for finishing it!
Happy New Amp Day!
Mike, Respect!!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

If the corners worry you then you can always get those metal corner protector things!

Re: NMCBDRD
I have yet to find metal corners that fit the angle for those top cabinet corners. Let alone for the two angles just below them...
