I love the staple neck pickup in my BBR5. I'd say give it a shot.

Yes! That with a Bigsby would be my ideal guitar.

I’m not going to mess with this guitar at this stage- it’s great as is.

Now that the PotC LP has sold, I agree.

There's a bridge called a bowtie bridge which sits on the surface of the guitar for use with a bigsby. They were used on original goldtops that were Bigsby equipped. Gilmour's famous goldtop used on the solo of Another Brick has one.

Ah yes, thanks, I did know about the bowtie. Assumed there might be a more “modern” solution.

I think the best solution would be like a lightening bridge or similar. I have a cool brass saddled alloy wrap tail that would be ideal to convert for Bigsby use on a wrap style guitar.

murky, I'll get your bridge to you next string change. Sorry. :o

If you want fully adjutable wraparound there's Pigtail/Tonepros/Schaller etc.
Amps:
Soldano SLO100 x2 | Wizard MC1 & MC2 | Diezel Herbert
Fryette Pittbull CL | Marshall 2203KK | Krank Rev 50 | Mesa Mark 2A

Rack stuff:
VHT/Fryette GP3, GP/DI & 2/90/2 | Peters FSM/Chimera
Verellen Meatsmoke | Synergy SYN1 | Mesa Studio

Tonepros has locking studs too- they’d hold the bridge in place quite nicely.
