I can gig a 5 piece band with a 12w amp perfectly well. It's only with early Knopfler tones that I notice slightly more hair than desirable.

An inefficient speaker can be a great tool for controlling volume if you have too much.

Anyway I have some soldering to do so if anyone has any process tips to help make the process as quick and painless as possible I'm all ears, do you drill holes in a block of wood to stick the plugs into and do it production line style? Or is a vice or those soldering helpful third hand things the way to go?
