Naaah... I'd like to think Nik took inspiration from the "infinity pool", and now has an infinite (at least room-sized) pedal board!

I remember those days! It was the unevenness of carpet that caused me to make my first ‘pedalboard’; it was a bread board I stole from the kitchen. Screwed a couple of risers onto the back and it was good to go! Lasted until I discovered the pleasures of impractically large pedals

Signal path: tuner --> Alpha Haunt --> Saint Mantis --> Sunset --> Flint --> MD-500 --> Volante --> NightSky.

Christ there's a lot of power on this board.

Not sure I really need anything more. Four gain stages of varying flavours, traditional reverbs from the Flint, fruity reverbs from the NightSky, super versatile modulation from the MD-500. Sounds absolutely huge.

The MD-500 can run two different modulations simultaneously. I have them in series at the moment. Works really well for subtle settings (e.g. vibrato + chorus with both really low depth). I think you can also run them in parallel (separate parameters for left and right). Quite a learning curve. Did a couple of quick recordings with the Iridium and the modulation adds so much character.

It's a fantastic unit, one of my favourite in the multi-effects space. Did take me a while to figure out how to have two effects running simultaneously on the same patch, but once I did it gave me a whole 'nother level of appreciation for it. I also took the time to figure out how to use one of the footswitches as a slow/fast button for the leslie
