But I'm realising that no pedals fixes it quite well.olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 8:55 pmAh, yes, well there's no pedal can fix thatSlowy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 5:36 pmThis would work if the drummer was consistent with his tempo.olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 12:03 pm
I struggle with this too. I like having separate pedals for all the thin-based effects, but it is soooo much easier to cover them all off with a multifx box. Hit the program setting and everything is right, inc levels and time.
If I could afford a Zwreck right now, I'd probably gig with just a guitar, amp and cord.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

You do realise Mayer doesn't pay for the amps he uses?

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Ha ha Rob, I’m just surprised and it would be big news for Two Rock if he used the Traditional Clean and even bigger news if he went with the 40watt. When I watched him he had his sig Two Rock with a mic and his prs amp with no mic . He has used a lot of older two rocks like the sterling, custom reverb, classic reverb signature but after that he was pissed at them for making one extra Mayer sig amp after his deal with them had finished and he made a social media post about it.

Good luck turning the wreck up enough to gig with just guitar and amp...Slowy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 10:17 pmBut I'm realising that no pedals fixes it quite well.

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Fair point. The included brake lite isn’t enough for that, but a proper attenuator like a Power Station would do the trick

Re: Show us your pedalboard
I went through a big search for attenuators. Bottom line, they're like pedals, they all sound different, and some sound a lot better than others. I didn't like the Airbrake/brakelite - it's a basic resistive attenuator, and sounded quite stiff. Settled on an Alex/Scumback which ended up replacing most of my pedalboard - huge transformer inside for the reactive thing, and goes all the way down to whisper.
Still to try a PS2 or TAE.
