Re: Show us your pedalboard
I have a pair of Headrush FRFR-GO speakers, or if I feel like real amps I pull out the AC10 and Laney Cub 8

How can I be sure I'm here?

Why realign things? why not just make a new board in the new configuration?jeremyb wrote: ↑Mon Apr 07, 2025 7:17 pmHmmmm I've always been a pedals into the front of amp kind of guy but I should give it a try, I currently split to stereo from the SCF so it wouldn't take too much to realign thingsrickenbackerkid wrote: ↑Mon Apr 07, 2025 6:48 pmYou slutty man. Some serious upgrades! Can I suggest (if you haven't already) you try the reverb and delay after the Enigmatic?
At home I have been running my Ruby into pristine clean delays and reverbs and am totally convinced that for those type of clean, clear, LA Session tones (yes, that includes John Mayer) the way to go is to have those FX after the Amp/Cab/Mic chain.
I'd suggest you split to stereo from the TC SCF, into the Enigmatic and put the delays and reverbs after that, in stereo and get ready to head down the rabbit hole for a bit![]()
You're welcome.

Re: Show us your pedalboard
This thing arrived yesterday! Far out. Sounds awesome, and really captures the Mesa/Marshall blend Tom used in Blink. Super impressed! Using it through the ‘89 JCM800. What a noise.
Had to mount it under my board due to no room on the top.
Eventually, if the Dumpweed thing goes well, I’ll likely put together a seperate board for it.
One week today until our first full-length shows. The stoke is high!

Is it a parallel arrangement with the blend knob?

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Ever had any issues with cable quality of signal? Got the first few done easily but since having issues getting a quality cable. I have some very short cables in parts of the pedalboard. Around 60-80mm. Struggling to get some of them to provide any signal at alljeremyb wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 11:44 amI use the Harley Benton solderless ones, they are the easiest system in the universe to use, have previously had Lava and Boss solderless ones and these are simpler to make and still sound great, I could never go back to pre-made patch cables, I'm constantly changing stuff around and I love being able to get things just right!
Thomann is the only place you can get the HB stuff and shipping isn't cheap, so buy more than you think you'll need and I always grab some other stuff while I'm at it like a pedal or one of the HB power supplies to make shipping worthwhile![]()

Re: Show us your pedalboard
I make sure I cut the end of the cable nice and square, no strands hanging out, make sure the screw in the side of the connector is out far enough or the cable doesn't fully go in, then push the cable in firmly, sometimes it kinda clicks into place, then I do up the screw and then repeat the process for the other end.Mr Bungle wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 4:41 pmEver had any issues with cable quality of signal? Next I use my multimeter set to resistance to check tip to sleeve on each end, if there is any measurable resistance on tip to sleeve I will redo the cable, its quite rare but it does happen occasionally... then I measure tip to tip and sleeve to sleeve to make sure I have continuity.
I once had a connector that I couldn't fix by redoing, had a look inside the connector and spotted the pin in the end that the centre conductor goes into was bent, straightened that with a thin screwdriver and it was all good, but thats been one faulty connector out of probably 100 I've used over the years

Board has got a bit bigger lately and tap-dancing has been an issue so trying a switcher.
Will get some better cables next time I'm in town

Re: Show us your pedalboard
I thought it was a really good sounding thing, and the FX loops are great, but goodness I hated programming it!
