Did you make your own patch cables? I'm looking at getting a Mono Rail Small. Walrus Canvas 15 arrived yesterday and works brilliantly. Just need the board to arrive and sort some patch cables. Your recommendation?

I use the Harley Benton solderless ones, they are the easiest system in the universe to use, have previously had Lava and Boss solderless ones and these are simpler to make and still sound great, I could never go back to pre-made patch cables, I'm constantly changing stuff around and I love being able to get things just right!

Thomann is the only place you can get the HB stuff and shipping isn't cheap, so buy more than you think you'll need and I always grab some other stuff while I'm at it like a pedal or one of the HB power supplies to make shipping worthwhile

Cheers. I could see they were custom lengths but didn’t know the brand. Lots recommend EBS PG’s but I think my anal retentive nature demands that I control the length and cleanliness of the pedalboard so will check these out, thanks.

I have one of the Rockboard Mod patch bays, it has 4 x TRS thru's, 2 x MIDI, 1 x USB, and power, I use two of the TRS ports for a loop after my drive pedals so I can put wahs and volumes after the drives, then the other two are used for expression pedals, the power goes to my power supply, and I don't use the midi or usb currently.

I wouldn’t mind being able to plug a wah in occasionally, but I like things simple and linear. Just looking for an in and out but maybe stereo out to run my PR and Princeton sometimes.

Most of the time I just have a short patch cable in the loop in and out to make it simple too

RIght, I'm going to have a bit of a brag having had some nice success today.

My pedalboard (my main one) is set out on one of the previous pages. For years, I've had an RMC wah sitting around plus a very cool little item by GLab that you plug your wah into/sit it on top of and then it activates whenever you put your weight on it rather than having to click in and out.

So I decided to incorporate it into my pedalboard setup. I pulled apart one of the temple audio 4x mods I had, put in some switched jacks plus a 9v bulkhead jack, and now:

- although i normally use my line6 wireless g50 (velcroed to the bottom of the board and permanently wired in), if I plug a guitar cable in to jack 1 then that goes to pedalboard input instead of wireless. Want to go wireless again? Unplug the guitar cable.
- if I want to add my wah (which sits on the floor just beside my pedalboard) then the 9v jack powers the GLab wah unit and the wah, and I plug in patch cables between the modded 4x mod unit and the Glab wah and they switch on and activate that loop. And if patch cables aren't plugged in then the signal bypasses it.

Well, it's signed by Analog Mike. It's the colour of his Porsche that he races apparently.
It was an upcharge, but I figured that I'd waited 6-7 years to get to the top of the list so I'd go for it. Not sure if it's limited edition.

Although not a sales post, everything is negotiable
