From there one output goes to an amp, another output goes into the LY Rock return to drive the cab sim DI outs. Mosky ISO 10 for pedal power. The morningstar controls everything except the amp sim & tuner

What do you think of the Tone Monster? I've got the DemonFX one on the way, the real deal sounds really great so kinda excited for this!

It sounds great and is super versatile. I believe it's the most versatile amp in a box in terms of routing & IO. It's hard to find something that'll give a stereo cab sim DI signal to a PA/interface while still giving a non cab-sim signal for guitar amp/s. There was something happening in the upper mids on clean tones that became tiresome but that may have been the speakers.

I've since put FRFR speakers (Celestion F12-X200) in my cabs so no need for a non cab sim signal, and replaced the tone monster with a Walrus audio ACS1 so I can have different amp models on left & right. Being able to turn off the amp & cab sim when using synth sounds is a game changer.

Bit of wiring going on today, added the RV-200 and got all the stereo effects in the loop of the Simplifier clone, liking it!

Holy shit, respect Jb!
I get to 7 and I'm fretting there's too many.
Do you get much tone suck compared to bypassing it to the amp?

Good power, good cables, good buffers, don't notice any tone suck or volume drop, but if there was I wouldn't be concerned as I really like the sound that comes out the amps :mental:

Holy shit Jeremy! I'm sure your rig has just about doubled!

How do you find the simplifier? I tried it, along with the Strymon Iridium and the UA Ruby and though the Simplifer fell quite short. But I've heard clips of it sounds amazing online, so I'm slightly confused by why I couldn't make it sound good. I've had a couple of the tech21 pedals and felt like they were up there with the simplifier.

Its been this kinda size for a while :mental: just haven't been posting pics much

I only got the simplifier clone on friday, have only briefly tried it thru headphones, which was my intended use for it so I can do quiet practice with my whole pedalboard, the very brief playing I've done so far made me smile, will try it into my interface and see how it sounds thru my monitors, could be a nice recording setup if it sounds good, I'm already gassing for one of their newer and fancier models

Had to pack away my amps & pedalboard to make space for the annual Christmas tree. Whilst on one hand that’s a PITA, it does give me an opportunity to see if I have the combination of pedals on the board that I want

Just back from Bunnings, will re-velcro whatever makes it on and some cable ties to tidy up underneath. Should be a nice little weekend project

Watched him redoing Robben Ford’s pedalboard a few days ago, now that’s what you call attention to detail and having passion for your job

I use the POT just as a low/med gain to put some hair on my cleans, then step on the DOT for my gain/lead. So yeah, for the higher gain stuff I’m using both

Here’s what my board has looked like in 2024. Hasn’t changed much in terms of what pedals I’ve been using over the past few years, but I did try running them through a RJM PBC6x for maybe 18 months/2 years. I took that off about six months ago and just went back to everything in series though.

Also featured is one of the more risky guitar stands for Gibsons… plus side is it’s available wherever you’re playing if you’re up for rolling the dice.
