Re: Show us your pedalboard
This is the pedal to rule them all. I keep trying pedals to replace it, but it always ends up being my OD of choice. I wonder what he's up to these days?
Yeah, my pedal board is a mess and it is sitting on a knock off Ikea corner desk
It's kind of a two channel Tube Screamer. One stock 808 and one modded. Separate drive for each, but only a shared tone and volume - so one can have more gain, but it would be more versatile with two extra controls -- not that I need versatile for my thing. Built on perf board with old school bits - if that makes a difference (His layout and wiring scheme might though).

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Well I'm still laid up recovering from my back op but it has enabled me to evaluate arrivals and "I think" finalise my pedalboard.
Top pic is my main board into my amp. I can swap out the F-Stop for a UAFX Ruby that has reverb/tremolo to go straight into PA (waiting for that to arrive but I'm sure it will work)
Bottom pic is a "mini board" I put together for shits and giggles that embarrassingly sounds just as good straight into the PA. Just waiting for a mini Phase 95 to complete it.

Re: Show us your pedalboard
its sad story with a happy ending (go Jeremy....)
My Helix lost its input. Sent to a fixer for whom it worked...came back and failed again. there are some reports of input boards dying...
anyway I decided to not spend a fortune and see if I could set myself up with a good practice rig without breaking the bank>
Thas when I saw Music Works selling of their Mooer Live Preamps for $400.
So here is the result.
The pedal is an expression, usually set for wah with auto on/off. All switching is happening on the MS3.The Preamp is on a loop so I can have wah or other bits first in line. The little monitor control gives me a handy master vol along with a mute and a mono switch.
I am VERY happy with the tones coming out.

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Thanks to our overlord Grant for the pedalboard. Thought it would be huge (summoning JB) but I fits my set-up better than expected.

Thanks to this place I'm going to have to buy a Paul C Zefram. If anyone spots one in the wild, a heads up will be appreciated.

Re: Show us your pedalboard
I have a two-switcher to to under the board and a DMC-3 that I need an extension for.
Waiting on some money I'm owed then will probably purge on a decent MIDI controller.
I'm running a four-amp set-up at present which is difficult to integrate with a loop switching system.

Nah, sold it. Don't actually need many loops, just MIDI control.
I'm unsure what you speak of with this "gig" thing.

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Have you tried the 004 straight into a PA? If so, how was the tone?philipnz wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 12:37 pm Well I'm still laid up recovering from my back op but it has enabled me to evaluate arrivals and "I think" finalise my pedalboard.
