Re: Show us your pedalboard
Rough outline of the board I'm building. Four gain stages and Flint in the ES-5's loops, then Volante, NightSky, MD-500 and RC-30. Sunset, Volante, NightSky and MD-500 all receiving MIDI from ES-5. She's ambitious, but will be a beast.
I did a wedding performance with this minus the four gain pedals over the weekend. Worked great.

No! Feel like the Sunset could (/should) be my only overdrive. The rest is just adding colour. And I try and go with local guys for that.jeremyb wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 4:48 pmSick! Re: Show us your pedalboard
I checked some YT reviews of the Melee…woah, sounds awesome! Very MBV...as well as other jams. Congrats! What’s the wee pedal with the cool graphics after it…I think you’ve made mention of it but I can’t recall. Super nice board, man. Really clean and tidy…and to the point.
JC amp? Are those 10”s? So that takes care of stereo chorus? How does it handle fuzz tones?

Re: Show us your pedalboard
The wee pedal after the Melee is a Mosky DOD250 clone that I repainted. I use it mostly as a clean boost sorta thing. Just adds a little more fullness to my clean sound.clubhouse wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 10:19 pm I checked some YT reviews of the Melee…woah, sounds awesome! Very MBV...as well as other jams. Congrats! The amp is a JC-22 — the smallest of the Jazz Choruses. It has a pair of 6.5s. It mainly gets used with headphones, though — apartment living. I can’t remember the last time I actually played out loud. I also have a Princeton Reverb that mostly lives in the wardrobe. It’s just too loud for where I live at the moment. I could probably quite happily live with just the JC-22 — it’s a great sounding little amp. I don’t really use fuzz, though I have run a Muff into it and it sounded good to me, but I’m into fairly ugly guitar sounds. The JC is perfect for the sorta shoegazey noises I like to make.

Re: Show us your pedalboard
So, posted this in the bass effects thread. But this is a dual purpose PB. And I realised I'd not added my external footswitch for the SY-200.
Current pathways are : - in to the Bass Whammy (does bass and guitar and some swear they're better than guitar whammy, also was cheaper) to ABY pedal then :
1/ SD-1 - FuzzieBro - Rangemaster - Caverns
2/ Sy-200 - NuX MG-30 for delays echoes and whackiness - mixer

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Oh and I clearly bought a pedal board that was about a third of the size of what I need. Again. I even bought a tiddly power supply, so now I'll have to buy a huge pedal board and transplant everything there and use this as a small pedalboard. Sigh.

That board looks about the right size for what I need- let me know if you decide to upsize.
