It's very good indeed. Once you figure out how to use it, despite the efforts of the instruction manual to be as confusing as possible. I would say the drum loops are actually not as good and varied as the RC-10R, but other factors make up for that, like the extra footswitch and the endless workflow options.

Went a bit Walrus heavy, but they make great stuff... pretty happy with how my Bunnings pedalboard turned out. Paint job isn’t anywhere near good, but I got bored after about my 15th coat trying to get it right!

Yeap been on a shoegaze, noise, ambient kind of kick lately. The DBA stuff is awesome for generally fucking shit up, gets some cool noises going. Picked up a Crave synth after that Behringer PSA in the other thread, really looking forward to running it through the effects!

Cables are rockboard that I got from rockshop. I assume the sonic boffins wouldn’t use them but they do the job. Plus purple board with golden connectors matches purple guitar with golden guard, and I’m a shallow MF!

Just rejigged my board the other day too.
The Cioks PS doesn't fit under the PedalTrain PT1 board, which is a PITA.
The green one is a DIY TS808 based on the Tayda PCB that I haven't got round to labeling yet.

Get some furniture feet from Bunnings to lift the back up. Velcro and cable tie the Coiks underneath so that it’s insulated from the board - don’t use the screw mounting plate - you can sometimes end up creating a ground loop if you scratch through the insulation coating in the screw holes - it’s pretty uncommon, but I’ve seen it a couple of times.

I noticed my Modtone Powerplant adds some noise when mounted directly under my pedals but not when it's away from them (still plugged in obviously). I wonder if insulating it like this would help. I think it's from the built in transformer. If you move the power supply towards and away from the pedals you can hear the hum come and go. Pretty annoying, as I always thought it was supposed to be better to have a built in transformer rather than a wallwart supply. At least the wallwart keeps the transformer away from the pedals.

I bought one of those cable kits. Unfortunately they were very hit and miss. Half of them were dead once made and the rest were very noisy and didn't cope well with being moved. The Rockboard fixed length gold flat patch cables are actually really good quality though.

Great board by the way, fantastic choice of pedals and really cool build too!
