NPD: Overhyped content

Gave it a try with a P90 SG - based on first impressions, it is pretty cool. I'm not usually a huge fan of MkII Tone Benders, and I think I like this more than I expected to. The variable voltage thing adds another dimension. And it is super quiet.

I'm on the Macari's mailing list, and managed to get in on their pre-order. The box is signed by Ant and Steve Macari - Ant offered, and I figured why not.

If you're a fuzz fan, its probably worth NZ$500 (that's what I paid). No way is it worth US$1000. I may give into greed and sell it - but I might need to be quick if the Reverb sales history keeps moving in the same direction:

Think there was a thread on TGP where a guy had bought one of these for 500 had shipping confirmation from the retailer who subsequently called the courier company and had it returned to the store, refunded the guy and relisted the pedal at 1500. Murica and the thirst for an easy buck. Shameful!
