New Full Stack Day
Have had the half stack for a while, just picked up a second cab
These Marshall 1960BHW cabs are superb, got rid of my 1960BX cab after the first shoot out.
Being a 120W cab & myself having a thing for serious volume the second cab is logical. Although both my Marshall heads (2204 & 1987) are so called 50 watters they exceed their ratings substantially.
The sound is glorious, you can feel the notes pass thru your soul!

So this has also gone from a half stack I've had for a while to full stack.
Picked up the super clean JCM800A cab recently for a great price. However, I purchased it as I had given up on looking for another matching B cab. I much prefer straight front cabs tonally & visually.
Both these 800 cabs have had an extreme makeover internally, they are both fully loaded with Mesa internals (8ohm v30s with the Mesa loom & jack plate). Never been a fan of just the gt75 speakers unless mixed but I already own an uberkab.

Sorry, really should of thrown up the full matching 800 stack...
Head is slightly unusual as it's a 1987 model that was reissued in the JCM800 lineup. Volume wise it is brutal, tonally it is brilliant!
also when stacking it makes more sense to have 2x B cabs -no point angling the 2 speakers closer to the ceiling! or unless your band all wears stilts....
Nice, Big fan of those Heritage H30 55 hz speakers. I've a straight front quad of 55's and another of 75hz
Jeff Beck had a nice trick with the angled top cabs. He'd put the top most upside down so the angle was pointing down slightly.

Damn straight. The focused projection of the B is far more appealing than that daft upward spread of sound of an A, especially so on stage.

It certainly projects afar. You don't want one of those little coily cables, been stuck right in front of it will cause extreme disintegration!
The vintage looking cabs are very manageable thru the volume range. Obviously loud but manageable.
The 800 cabs can get very extreme in volume (240w each). Especially as 2 x 8ohm cabs means running your head at 4 ohms, you truly unlock your amps full sonic potential. With the 1987 head it gets absurdly loud, I try not to run it much past 7 on the volume
