I'm genuinely glad you have both got this situation resolved and I assume are now on good terms again. I had a kind of similar situation arise a while back, had something I was lined up to buy with a deposit on it but unfortunately a leak in our bathroom ceiling meant I had to pull out of the trade. I obviously apologised but no response back. I'd always considered this forum member to be a very good friend, I offered him my R8 to take to Gearfest if he wanted to swing by and grab it but heard nothing back

Things like this niggle me as I generally get along with everyone. In a last ditch attempt I decided to send a PM that I put a bit of time into constructing, again apologising for having to pull out of the sale and that I hoped we could move past this. I said I hoped that there was no 'bad blood' or resentment on their end, the reply back amounted to 3 or 4 words. Can't remember what they were but I basically took it as 'whatever'. I've had no contact from them since and despite me really wanting to get the friendship back on term I have resigned myself to the fact that that's unlikely to happen. Having said that they have my cell number and my Inbox is always open to them messaging me

So pats on the back to both of you for agreeing to talk things through and listen to each other, it's great to see the outcome. Props
