Don’t see one of these every day

Post by Kev77 »

After a very long time searching . My fender Tenor telecaster arrived today at my local RS.
You can turn pretty much however you like, it’s in DGBE for for now, but I’ll probably have a wang at Mandola tuning soon.
The neck is slim, but chonky depthwise. Classic tele toans and plays well. It’s the first guitar I’ve ever purchased new from a retailer, I’m a pretty happy camper.

Very cool, there is a great video of a mandolin player on this model and it sounds fantastic
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

The thing I live about is that they've kept the guitar proportions looking really good. Something like this could very easily look odd - but it looks great :-)

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
