The Batwing mandolin flew in today, and boy what a manky instrument, crud all over the thing. So got down to work and gave it a bath in naptha, glued up the split in the f hole, cleaned and oiled the fretboard and and crowned the frets. As unboxed

Got to work, the action was crap so shimmed the neck, replaced the thumbwheels on the bridge, did a set up and have a great playing mando with 1.5mm G and e. Plugged into the Tweed Deluxe absolute creamy goodness. Tiger stripe maple neck a bonus.
