NBD
My '73 Greco JB-420 finally turned up yesterday 8 days after it was collected by Courier Post from the far north. I couldn't find the tracking number on the online T&T the entire time until the bass was actually delivered to my door - more confirmation that the couriers are overrun. I did some setup yesterday, left it overnight for the neck to settle and finished it off today. The original flat-wounds are in good nick and it now plays really nicely. I spotted it by chance on TradeMe - I couldn't resist it 'cause it looked so nice and at $400.00 seemed very reasonable. I ended up paying $650.00 after a bidding war but this included freight and a nice old case. P.S. The TM vendor "randombob" (Vern) was great to deal with - I think he may lurk around here from time to time.

Re: NBD
Yes he does, and he is a fine chap I had my eye on that but I've got 3 basses at present - I really don't need a 4th unless its a 5 string (roundwound, halfwound and flatwound...)
That is a smasher!

So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Re: NBD
does the 4 refer to your cock length in inches, and the 20 refer to girth in mm?jeremyb wrote:JB 420 pretty much describes most of my time at University.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
