Successful Face Transplant (pics)

Some of you may know that I picked up an old Laney LH50R circa early 2000's a while back, it sounds amazing and has been rehoused in a shell made from old recycled rimu church pews.

The front grill was a bit uninspiring to my eyes :eh:

I decided to go for a dark blue with a light floral effect, handpicked for the princely sum of $4. Cut down to size and stuck on to the front wooden panel with some strong craft glue

Wanted to finish it off with some subtle piping around the edges and maybe a slightly bolder piece of piping running underneath the bottom of the faceplate. The white piping slid in no problems oo er; I then bought some thin brown rubber piping to run around the remaining sides. Here's the finished article, must say I think it looks rather nice 8)

Thanks very muchly to Grant aka Lostininverness who I met earlier today to pick up the white piping, a top gent!
