Can't remember where I got mine, but probably through NZG somehow! Sold it on TM. One day I'll buy another one.

Re: Gear you regret letting go of
I don't regret setting my LP free - It is an awesome guitar and I bought it for my erm 40th birthday. I can do the full story behind again if anyone really wants but.....
I gigged her for about 300 gigs or so? As well as others. She never complained, only broke a string once and that was down to me trying to do a 5 step bend.
But when I stopped gigging, she became a commodity - sad but true. If I'd still been gigging - cold dead hands!
I still regret the XTC, but I wouldn't buy it back - just because it would fuck with my mind as it did when I owned it. How is it possible to have so many options, switches, push pulls etc in one amp?
Ash Donnie, the red one. That is the one thing I truly regret. But, I never really liked the neck - a bit too thin.
Otherwise I'm fine with what I have! Not much is irreplaceable.

To be fair, I regretted that too. JB is the current owner I believe....werdna wrote:two metre carbon fibre morris dancing pole … err apologies, wrong forum.

I don't really mind selling gear normally, as I've changed my setup a lot anyway. Nothing has ever felt truly irreplaceable.
But I sold some studio gear earlier this year and it felt a bit like an admission that nothing's ever going to come of the whole recording thing for me. That sucked a bit.

They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

It doesn't have too. I'm looking for some more stuff and I'm only 37.Delayman wrote:I don't really mind selling gear normally, as I've changed my setup a lot anyway. Nothing has ever felt truly irreplaceable.
