I can highly recommend listing the LP for sale. It's clearly ruined.

This is really hitting the spot at the moment. Been learning one of the melodic sections from the Dead Man score and loving the Mr Glynn Black Sand P90s for a bit of Neil Young vibe. Bogner sounds killer too.

New guitar day!

I've been a big fan of G&L ever since I've heard about them. And seeing @Slowy with his G&L Fullerton Legacy made me want one of their guitars even more. This would be my first G&L guitar I've ever owned. Okay, it's only a Tribute.

G&L Tribute Legacy. Fullerton Red, 3-ply white pickguard, tinted gloss neck, Maple fingerboard. Weighing at 3.8kg (not too heavy, not too light - just right). Made by Cor-Tek in their Indonesian factory on Jan 2021.

There was a Facebook listing that went unsold for a long time. It went down to a very good price. It's almost new - better condition than a lot of floor stock guitars in music shops I've played. I was looking for a Strat to upgrade my existing Artist ST62 guitar. i also wanted a maple fretboard guitar.

It looks absolutely gorgeous to me. Sounds like a Strat that got a bit swole from lifting weights. Plays great. Good craftsmanship.

I was quite surprised with the electronics install as well. Inside cavity is well shielded - so it cuts down a lot of the EM and RF noise. Very happy about that.

The pickups sound great. I may want to get a set of Mr Glyn's Bellbirds to replace them but I'm in no hurry to.

But yeah, very happy with my purchase. It will join my lineup of Cor-Tek made instruments along with Cort A4 Plus bass guitar.

Are the pots master vol, master treble & master bass?

Yeah, much more useful to me than the standard Master Vol, Neck Treble, Middle Treble.

Mine is current set up as MV/MT and the bottom one blends in the neck pickup in positions 1/2 and bridge pickup in positions 4/5. Gives a quite interesting sound when dialing a little bit of bridge pickup into the neck position, or vice versa.

Yes, been there myself!

Got some pickup covers for the JM that match the parchment guard better. Unfortunately the covers are not a great fit. You can't really tell from a distance, but I've another set on the way that should fit properly.

I'm liking the more vintagey look. Seriously contemplating getting a matching headstock done.
