Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Tried a few Telecasters in the RS in New Plymouth today. There was a $3K US Pro which was schlonky as. Then I found a Jap in Daphne Blue with a P90 in the neck today.
Never had a go on a P90 in a Tele before. Big fun!

Schlonky? I'm an older person, i don't know if that's good or bad.
P90s are great.

Schlonky = bad. Like, actually bad, not Michael Jackson bad.WellyBlues wrote:Schlonky? I'm an older person, i don't know if that's good or bad.

Was really surprised at how bad. It was mostly set up, but the pick ups were harsh as.

Bridge position P90s are even more fun! More harmonics, more attack, good fun.

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Nice looking pair you have there, how do they compare to each other? I haven't played a suhr in ages when that suhr dealer in Wellington shut down, I remember they were really consistent when I played a whole bunch of them.KNNZ wrote:NGD tho it’s been a few weeks old now

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
they sound pretty similar with the Surf Green a tad brighter and has a slimmer neck which is great for lead, the Sonic Blue one has a chunkier neck which I like to play rhythm stuff, if I were to keep one would be the Surf Green one, thinking of offering the Sonic blue for trades, just maybeVoxshall wrote:Nice looking pair you have there, how do they compare to each other?
