LOL - there is a snakeskin SLO100 halfstack that will be touring our stores. Starting with New Plymouth I think - just in time for G-TARANAKI....

That's one amp I hope to own in this lifetime. Congrats!

What cab are you running through? There's a Bogner 4x12 with Vintage30s at the studio if you wanna bring it by and crank the hell out of it.....maybe record a clip or two even

Ooooooooo that's tempting. ALthough finding the TIME to do things like that is my main issue. I'll keep it in mind though. Cheers :-D

I've just tested it in my office so far with a MESA 3/4 back 1x12 - but there is a Soldano 4x12 out in the warehouse with my name on it. It will get the treatment after work this evening methinks...

Those Soldano cabs have Eminence speakers, don't they? Most of my fave Soldano tones seem to be recorded through Vintage 30s or EV12 200 watters.

Dunno if you've already tried this, but apparently you get some great tones by setting the clean channel to crunch and hitting the front end with a tubescreamer/booster. Atleast that's how a certain Gazza did it IIRC : )

Yes, the Soldano cabs have Eminence Legends in them. I'll also be trying it out with my V30 loaded MESA Stiletto Cab.

LOL - I'm one step ahead of you. Already spent the morning slamming the front end of the CRUNCH setting with an EP Booster, a Boss OD3, a BB Preamp and a TS-9. All different flavours of awesome!!!!
