I only have three guitars. More than enough for little old me. My current favourite is this old 1990s Studio with the ebony finger board that Glyn put stainless frets in. I chucked in a Dimarzio Super Distortion and 36th Anniversary PAF, plus the old school speed knobs. Hybrid Slinky strings tuned Eb. It makes me think Viv Campbell with Dio. Not as easy to play as my SG's wide, skinny neck, but the fat tone makes up for that. It's so good I do not think about trading up to a Standard. Les Paul itch is scratched plenty well enough.

Haven't been playing a tonne the last year or so due to other hobbies, renovations and a recent new baby. It didn't help my guitars are a bit packed away atm too. But decided I need to keep a guitar close by in the house so it will atleast get picked now and then.

Right now the guitar of choice is my Charvel Okume with a Glyn Cloud 9 in the bridge. Not that I'm even plugging it in that often

Very different guitars.

Right is a Murphy Lab 64, and left is me ole ‘60.

The old guitar sounds like a Telecaster. Tight, bright and ready to rock.

Are those original olde worlde speed knobs as well? Didn't realise Gibson brought those out in 1950's. Always learning!

Fat but a little less shoulder than an R9.

Hmm might look at the '59 still. They don't look anywhere near as cool as yours, though!

That’s weird - it’s kinda like a slightly smaller R9. And that JM you have has an R9 neck (I ordered it that way from Musikraft).
