Love The Cult!

The Trusts Arena gig was 2010 I think. Didn’t go.

Saw them at the Powerstation 2016. Gig was good. Appropriate venue, although odd seeing them so close. They had a 2nd guitarist on stage for a few songs, then oddly dropped him for a few hits that could have really done with two guitars (eg Firewoman).

He’s basically talk singing Sweet Soul Sister. How sad. Band sound tight but these old boys vocals go off a cliff after a certain age.

Yeah, I'm still really looking forward to it, Billy's guitar playing has always been a big part of it for me :-)

Also, I didn't realise until recently that him and Johnny Marr are good mates and grew up together. Listening back to She Sells even, there is a lot of those clean chorus similarities.
