Really! Oh, that's sad. Read his biog a few years ago. Cool bloke. Just today a Wilco / Daltry song came up in my Facebook thing. Must've been connected with his passing.

I've only recently started listening to The Blockheads. Utterly excellent band. RIP.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

The interview he did some years ago re his cancer and recovery is worth a listen. Amazing story.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Loved the Feelgoods from the first time I heard them. Great band. His later work with Daltrey was good. The book and film were excellent.
RIP

Oh wow! Crumbs...that's a bugger. Rest lightly, man. My mate always referred to him as 'Machine Gun Tele'...as a play on the bad-ass, '30s gangster cat, 'Machine Gun Kelly'...not the contemporary rapper dude. Don't puns always suck if you end up having to explain them...

A hero. Most of time people make me sick, but it's the opposite with Wilco J.
