This guy is real good. Been watching for a while. Love his technique - kinda Matteo/Derek trucks-ish.
Hmmm now I need to do some regular jam videos...

Re: The Chris Buck Appreciation Society
Man, this resonated with me (geddit?)
We seem to be attracted to either flash maple tops or beat up nitro finishes (or sometimes both). I know I still fall for that sometimes. We should buy guitars blindfolded I think.
Re: The Chris Buck Appreciation Society
C'mon then. Out with the stop watches, men. Are there really electric guitars out there that'll ring for 45 seconds?
My most resonant guitar rings acoustically for 25 seconds before I cannot hear it anymore.

Re: The Chris Buck Appreciation Society
I think my LP is fairly resonant it will ring out for about 20 seconds acoustically.

Re: The Chris Buck Appreciation Society
Something I've noticed playing mostly superstrats is that no matter the wood, thicker bodied guitars with a shorter scale length (i.e. LPs), just have that extra bit of oomph for chugging chords and they seem to sing a little more with big bends. Maybe it's the angled headstock too.

Hmmm....I plucked an open e string.
