There was a Kiwi guy interviewed on Jesse Mulligan, who was on the roof with them. That must have been something...
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

so none of the commentary Ive seem on multiple sites has noted that they are rehearsing without vocal mics....something I have been known to endorse but sometimes get ridiculed for.

To keep volume down or improve dynamics?

I like the Beatles and everything, but surely they’ve been mythologised enough?

The thing that will be interesting about this is that there were conversations that they were trying to hide from the cameras by playing over them etc.. and PJ's crew were able to extract the audio so we can listen in.

Nope. Imagine the alternative, parallel time stream sans Les Beatles. The idea of the ‘rock band’ (just for one thing) wouldn’t have hit as hard as it did…the list of credits due them is nuts.

yeah both of these - and general communication...and setting realistic vocal performance levels (as a sound person whisperers are a drag!)

I thought it was laughable that they named an airport after John Lennon. 'Liverpool John Lennon Airport' with the slogan "Above us only skies"... Probably good for the tourist dollar.

The Beatles left Liverpool at the first opportunity and only returned for the occasional appearance in a sit-com or to bounce James Cordon from place to place. The city itself has traded the life out of this band. Growing up there made me realise that sentimentality is an impediment to progress.
