yeah that has been for sale for well over a year and has dropped in price to be at that current price. I think it started at around 10k when first listed ... ugliest finish I have seen in a long time
Don't think it's been listed for the past couple of months. And yep, looks like a badly-done Gibson BFG finish.

I think the original run of purple EVH guitars had finish fading issues. That one must have sat in the sun for ages as it's the worst I've seen.

I love faded finishes on all guitars but this one. Instead of old it just looks poorly applied.

I've just been playing a couple EVH vids on YouTube. Eruption came on and my 4yo said "Dad this is the guy that plays Jump?". I said "how do you know that?"

"Because they have the same guitar".

Yes! Proud Dad moment.
Loving it so far

Uncle Ben does a great video on EVH. Just what was required. Shed a tear watching.

That was really good, Ben hit upon something there too about Eddie being musical, he wrote great, catchy songs, it wasn't just about the guitar.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Felt a bit sad when he said he hopes the wolfgang outlives him :?

Youtube session player Tim Pierce talks about a couple of times he crossed paths with EVH. The story about 1976 at Gazarri's made me smile.

Still having a moment over EVH's death. Not as bad as the people who were hysterical over Princess Diana's death in 1996. But it is the lowest moment in 2020.
