RIP Dr John :-(

Mostly got to know his stuff through his association with other artists, for me notably SRV. I had this on VHS when I was a teenager, thought this was as good as it got!

RIP, plenty of the greats for you to play with now.

Shopping mall in Paris, playlisting his songs in sympathy. Doubt they're doing that at Sylvia Park.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

I saw him on a few occasions when I lived in New Orleans, often unannounced guest spotting on other peoples shows. Class act, musical powerhouse and happy to chat if you were buying drinks
