The '55 Les Paul looks bloody nice. Low estimate I'd have thought.

Someone for you to aspire to Molly ?
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

I still have printed in my mind Oleg's black PRS.

Sigh. I want the White Strat and the Goldtop.
I really wish I'd listened to what my Dad told me when I was young. :(
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Much want. But also a little amusement at myself... Why buy some other geezer's worn out, manky, sweat encrusted guitar... When I could buy a nice shiny new one?

Still much want

If everyone on the forum put together a donation, we could get some real money together, and then offer to buy one of JB's nuts - specifically the right hand side one, as the left one appears not to be for sale. We could donate the right nut to someone like Lance Armstrong. I am not sure which side he is missing, and whether it makes any difference anyway with nuts. JB would have money to buy a guitar, and for the rest of it's a real team building opportunity.

I'm pretty sure that'll go for six figures. Still, how much would you love to put it on TradeMe and field all the stupid questions?

"Is it a Chinese copy?"

"Where did you get it? Have you still got the receipt?"

"Where's the other half of the bridge?"

"Has it been gigged?"

"You know you can get a new one for a lot less than this?"

"Why are you asking $51k for it when you only paid $50k?"

"Will you take $20k? Can pay today."

"These are great guitars. I used to have one. Jumpers for goal posts." (Mr George)

"Trades? I've a MIJ Telecaster with a Gibson neck that's just killa!"
