Yes... but I'm old. I'll happily admit I haven't heard of most of the artists/bands that are in this thread

oooh glad to hear the new Uncle Acid is a goodie.

Alae`s debut album is worth a listen if your into Talk Talk type stuff.

I`m struggling to think of anything else released this year I`ve listened to.
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

Reading these lists... the names of bands are getting weirderer every year... no desire to listen to anything that is labelled blood beteen my thighs or so
Whats wrong with Humble Pie or the Flamin Groovies anyway?
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Arctic Monkeys - Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino - its growing on me...
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Yeah, same. I was a bit non-plussed on the first few listens, but I really dig it now. The title track and '4 stars out of 5' are top shelf. Cool to see them do something completely different from AM. I don't normally give a shit about lyrics, but Turner writes some bloody good ones.
